“ Omg! LCK is soooooo good. I ordered livermush, one scrambled egg, and grits. I had so much food I was able to have breakfast for 2....hear me now 2 days!! This is where you go for a home-cooked meal that doesn't break the bank and keeps you coming back for more! ”

“ I knew the minute I walked in I was going to be happy. All the patrons were 55 and up - which means this place is a favorite with locals who will not put up with bad food. I got the usual breakfast, hash browns, 2 eggs, sausage, coffee and toast. It was reasonable. I gave a larger tip than usual. Servers need their pay. And I'll go back for lunch. It is not open for dinner. ”

“ Look - the place is plain and devoid of much character. It feels a bit like you are walking in an old infirmary and smells a bit like old bleached mop water and food. BUT. BUT the food is EXACTLY what you want and what they say it is: delicious, simple and hot. The prices are low. The staff are kind and welcoming, no pretentiousness or brusqueness. Good old-fashioned Southern kindness. I felt like I went back 35 years and I was traveling around N.C. with my Dad discovering little dives on the way up to Raleigh. Simply put: I love this place. ”
